It is unfortunate that v3.4.2 does not work in Dos/Win.

The version 3.4.2 has "only" been tested on 5 different platforms
(combinations of hardware and compiler) before being released
for use by DEVELOPERS, which is the usual policy.
Note that v3.4.2 is NOT
available for production, as emphasized in the announcement.

One can hope that the problem you get might be easily fixed.
If not done by somebody else, our local Dos/Win expert, Luc Sindic,
will do it, depending on his time availability (he should be back from
vacation soon). The bug fix, when found, will be incorporated
in v3.4.3 (the production version of v3.4), as well as the future v4 .

In any case, the policy to support Dos/Win will continue ...
