Dear all,

Is there anyone knowing the unit of Oscillator strengths (and eigen
vectors) obatined from IFC ?
I cannot find the information about it in ABINIT package and homepage.
(From the paper PRB. 55,10355(1996) by Xavier Gonze and Changyol Lee, It
looks like both may not be dimesionless.)

Atomic units are used in that paper : 1 atomic unit for
the oscillator strength is
0.342036 m3/s2 (my thanks to Gian-Marco !). THis information
will be placed in the output file.
The phonon eigenvectors are normalized according to Eq.(51)
of that paper (thus the dimension is apparently the inverse square root
of an atomic mass). Do not forget that a normalisation is a convention !

Good continuation,
Xavier
