Who have successfully complied the latest version of ABINIT under DOS environment? What kind of tools should I have? and How?For 3 years, I use PGI Workstation 3.0 under Windows NT 4 and I've just installed Abinit version 4.0.4 on my PC. Testing is in progress. I didn't bought a licence for Windows 2000 since it was too expensive. Today, version 5.0 of PGI Workstation is available on www.pgroup.com and you can download it for a 15 days evaluation.
Other Fortran compilers for Windows can be found. Since Abinit is being developped under unix systems, the best way is to choose a unix environment with Fortran for Windows.
Cheers.
