memory needs underestimated

Hi all,

I'm finding that abinit always underestimates memory needs by a fairly
large margin (50%).

Does anyone have any experience in accurately estimating memory needs for
a given set of input parameters?

Perhaps some one knows what's missing from the memory analysis routines in
abinit?
