Hello,
The question could be more specific ... The phrase "optical property"
contains so many ideas, i.e. band-gap, refractive index, Raman/IR, ...
If you have specific key words for your question in your mind,
literature survey on the WEB would also help : As "free" sites.
http://www.google.com
http://www.ingenta.com (then, go to "advanced search")

Masayoshi
P.S. The book by Richard M. Martin (planned March 2004), Cambridge University Press.
Electronic Structure : Basic Theory and Practical Methods (ISBN: 0521782856)
For details, see http://titles.cambridge.org/catalogue.asp?isbn=0521782856
The book would help for such question... Please wait for a while ...

Dear all,
I want to know a good reference for ab initio optical property calculation.
It does not matter what the electronic structure calculation method is, that is local oribital or pseudopotential plane wave.
I am afraid that the question is not clear and apologize for it.
Thanks for your help.
Best Regards,
Geunsik.
