Hello,
 I am wondering whether there is any successful try in using gnu 
compilers to digest the abinit code. I downloaded the 4.2.* series 
for test and found that both g77 and g95  could not process many 
parts of the code.
 For the compiler itself, it seems that g77 supports f90 poorly and 
g95 is not ready yet .
  Is there any elder version of the abinit code that can pass 
through the g77 compiler without or just few problems ?
