Dear All -

I have taken the binary executable (static) of linux itanium (ifc-7.1) from 
the website.
When I try to run the file "abinip"

here are the outputs -

$./abinip or $mpirun ./abinip --> The msg I get is below...

** Address Error **

This is the same with all the ifc static binaries. I am using glibc-2.2.4 - 
would this be a reason?

However, I am able to run 4.1.3 pggroup binaries using the libpg.so. I am yet 
to try the 32bit static executables of 4.2.3 compiled using pgf90 from the 
website.

It would be nicer with the ifc version, since I am told that it is much 
faster on the itanium Vs the pgf90 32 bit executable.
