Dear Zhigang Wu
I recently asked for some information on the abinit forum concerning the
elphon function described in the abinit master index, which will be able to
extract the electron phonon coupling matrix, elements and calculate related
properties - Tc, phonon line widths..
http://www.abinit.org/ABINIT/robodoc_4.3.1/elphon.f.html
This is the reply from Matthieu:
"... but for elphon there's a reason you don't know how
to use it and it's not documented: it doesn't work yet. My coding is
coming along quickly now, but nothing is commited yet and the present
version of abinit (4.3.2) does nothing useful AT ALL. As a matter of fact,
the code is very buggy as it stands. Please don't try to run it yet (my
reputation would suffer :).
4.4 will have a rudimentary version with electron phonon linewidths and
probably the alpha^2F function."
So we have to wait a little for this feature to become available.
