Hello:

Many thanks for Matthieu and Sergey for hints on compiling abinip.
Problem seems to be in MPICH installation, because g77 and Intel
compilers are not compatible. This is very clearly described in
the MPICH Installation Guide. The following works for me - when
installing MPICH, do from the mpich-1.2.5.2 directory:

setenv FC f90
setenv F90 f90
./configure
make

then follow directions in abinit distribution for Intel_P6 compilation.
