Dear All:
thank friends for answering my previous quesiton.
Now, I have a related question:
How to get the superimpositioned charge density of two atoms that form a
chemical bond just from a single calcualtion?
My intention is to calcualte the bond charge___ n(b), it is as:
n(b)=n(t)-[nA+nB]
where n(t) is just the total charge density from Cut3d analysis;
nA and nB is respectively the original charge density of isolated
atom A or B.
Now,
1) As suggested by friends, one way is just to calculate the charge density
of each atom, then sums them together to get [nA+nB]___ superpositioned
charge density. Finally substrat it from n(t) to get n(b). This is just done
by me.
But, a better methods exists if the following problem is solved:
2) is there any superpsotioned charge density value which has been included
in the SCF steps. If YES, HOW to GET IT?
thank you
