Dear all,
In addition to my previous message, here is an error message that I got
when trying to use ABINIT 4.3.3 on NEC SX-5 for a pretty big
calculation:
getng : BUG -
ngfft is bigger than allowed value = 2.
This indicates that desired ngfft is larger than getng
can handle. The code has to be changed and compiled.
leave_new : decision taken to exit ...
Any ideas about the source of the problem?
With my best regards,
Artem

Subject: ABINIT on NEC SX-5
Dear ABINITioners,
Does anybody have any experience with ABINIT on NEC SX-5 (or other NEC
models)? I was able to compile v.4.3.3, but the executable was not able
to pass quite a lot of tests: in many cases, the test was aborted
without calculating anything. Does anybody have any suggestions of how
to fix this, or at least where the problem could be?
With my best regards,
Artem
