- Subject: Problem with cpuh option

Dear ABINIT authors and users,
I use abinit version 4.3.3. As I wrote in my last e-mail, I have to use the
option *cpuh* (or *cpum*) for terminating of the job because I have timelimit
by our batch system. I put "cpuh 23" in my input file and submitted my job on
24 hours. But the job run 24 hours and did not reminated after 23 hours.
I compiled the code on IBM PPC970 cluster, using XLF/XLC compilers and
MYRINET. Often I have seen in other output files finished normally during 24
hours very strange time required for calculations :
- Total cpu time (s,m,h): 394343.4 6572.39 109.540
- Total wall clock time (s,m,h): 409489.2 6824.82 113.747
But it is not true, because the code could not work more than 24 hours.
Also I run example22 of Tutorial. I submitted the job on 5 minutes and it
finished during 2 minutes. But in output file I found:
- Total cpu time (s,m,h): 844.7 14.08 0.235
- Total wall clock time (s,m,h): 1135.5 18.93 0.315
So, I guess this time is incorrect. I guess it is a local problem, because on
my PC ATHLON single processor machine cpu time is correct and the job could
be finished by using *cpuh* keyword.
So, how to solve this problem ?
Thank you very much,
Best wishes,
Sergey
