Dear David M. Wood,

Nice to hear that !
It would be a good idea to share the makefile_macros
for g95-MacOSX. It would be included in the future versions.

About the cpp options, have you tried
CPP=/usr/bin/cpp
CPP_FLAGS=-P -traditional-cpp -xassembler-with-cpp
in Machine_dept_files/MAC/makefile_macros.macosx.xlf_nc ?

In passing, I am struggling with v.4.5.2 + IBM xlf v.8.1 on MacOSX (10.3.8)...
(This version is not for production yet, so a short memo was posted
to the dev. ML) It might be interesting to give it a try with g95 ?

Yours,
Masayoshi

The latest fink g95 version compiles abinit 4.4.4 out of the box and (this time) the tests appear to have all passed!
Alas, I had to use the IBM cpp to do it. Anyone know what flags to feed the Apple cpp to get it to cooperate, of where to some other well-behaved cpp?

Thanks to the fink team, and of course to those maintaining ABINIT and making it so well-behaved!
