Dear ABINIT users,

I tried to compile the forthcoming 5.0 version of ABINIT with IFORT 9.0
too, encountering the same problems. Even worse, the compile flags have
changed once more, thus expect bad surprises in any case.

Here is my recommendation: please DO NOT THROW IFORT 8.1 if you have it
installed on your machine, and continue to use it. As for the 8.0
version, we will likely have to wait for the 9.1 version for things to
work once again.

In the meantime, all will be done to switch to GFortran 4.1 as soon as
possible (GFortran 4.0 is not able to compile ABINIT for now).
