Hello all..

I recently sent a message to the forum which I can now see it was rather stupid. I asked why my calculation of bcc Fe was giving me some very bad numbers. I can now see that I simply (!) missed the ferromagnetic character of bcc Fe. (I could just use the excuse that I'm a "molecules" kind of guy and solid state physics is rather new to me.. :-)

The way I found the "solution" to my problem was by doing a more through search in the tutorials, the manuals and the web. I would like to apologize for the waste of bandwidth, although it was minimal (since my message went ignored :-).

My philosophy when it comes to these kind of forums (I've been a member of another one for many years now) is the following: when you find a problem, you spend some time trying to figure it out. If you come to the conclusion that trying to find the solution would take a lot more time, you ask and in the meantime you keep looking. I think this strikes a balance between wasting your own time (and thus rendering the forum useless) and wasting other people's time (and cluttering the forum with questions).

Regards, Fer.
