netcdf couldn't find your f90 compiler. Forcing it to accept yours is 
tricky. ifort 8 should be ok, but ifc7 is hell - just what I'm doing now.

You may have to go into the netcdf and configure it yourself - they use 
environment variables for FC and FFLAGS.
