It seems strange indeed, but we cannot guess what happened
on your computer, without further information, i.e. inputs !
("Segmentation fault" may mean ANYTHING.)

Please attach your input files (the failed case & the successful case).
Before posing questions, please peruse the Netiquette and "problem
report format" follow the spirit ... to save our "humanware" (time, 
...).
