Hi,
The problem comes from the fact that you use too much memory. I can
suggest the following:
- If you have a parallel computer you can split your calculation on
four nodes or more.
- you can try to use the input variable mkmem
- you can go to the nearest hardware shop, buy 3 GB of memory and a
EMT64 P4 (likely pin compatible with yours) then install a special
BIG mem kernel of linux.
- if you reduce your cutoff (assuming 50Ha was a reasonnable choice)
or your number of k points your results wont be relevant
