Hi,

We do not know, either, due to the lack of information...
We would appreciate, if you could open more information
by following our Netiquette spirit ...
http://www.abinit.org/community/?text=netiquette
http://www.abinit.org/community/?text=bug_report
(e.g. disclosing the Input file, type of pseudo ... etc.)

Which binary archive was used ? (Intel ? PGI ? G95 ? .... )
How about the other binary packages for Intel/Linux ?

You have gone through all the Tutorial/Tests with the binary package ?
(You had some problems with the Tutorials/Tests or not ?
If not, your input might have some errors ... ?)

Good luck,
Masayoshi , "the Netiquette man" ?

Greetings everyone!

I have encountered an error during my calculations. I couldn't find anything about it on the web-site, so I'm posting my problem here in hope that someone will be able to help me.

I have a version 4.6.5 on Intel Pentium Linux based machine. The version I've downloaded from the web-site (not compiled by myself on the machine).

I was trying to optimize a structure and in the beginning of dataset 1 (after the several lines; the last ones regarding "getng" and "getmpw") I got:

forrtl: severe (168) : Program Exception - illegal instruction
Image PC Routine Line Source
abinis "some hex. no" Unknown Unknown Unknown

and likewise for several rows.

I don't know what does it mean. If someone could help me with this one, I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance

I. Lukacevic
