Applications are invited for multiple research/visiting/post-doctor/intern
positions at Motorola India Research, Bangalore, aimed at theoretical and
computational research in nano-science and technology. The openings are on,
1. Postdoc/Visiting + Intern position to work on theory and modelling of
hydrogen portable electronic devices. Specific
systems of interest hydrogen in MOF, metal hydrides, and efficient
hydrogen catalysis.
2. Postdoc/Visiting + Intern position to work on theory and modelling of
electronic transport in nanostructures, like
carbon nanotubes and novel magnetic nanostructures for rf applications
Research work will involve close interaction with researchers at Motorola
Research, India and USA, and collaboratoring University/National Laboratory
partners in the USA, Mexico, and Japan. The postdoc and intern positions are
open for one year and renewable for one more year. Exceptional postdocs
would be considered for regular research positions at Motorola Research
India. Salaries are competitive
with regular industry research positions. International candidates would be
provided with airfare, subsidized housing, and relocation
benefits.
Interested applicants for the research/visiting/postdoc positions should have
a Ph.D in Physics, Electrical Engineering,
Chemistry, or theoretical Materials Science . Interns should have a
BS/B.Tech/MS in the above areas, while
exceptional undergraduates are also encouraged to apply. Please send your
