Hello Amal,
         distributed with Abinit is a small program written in numerical 
python by a member of my research group, Benjamin Tardif. This program is 
called AbinitBandStructureMaker.py and can be found in:

      > Abinit_directory/util/users/AbinitBandStructureMaker.py

       If you have numerical python installed (that is python with the 
numerical librairy) you can launch it with the commande:

      > python Abinit_directory/util/users/AbinitBandStructureMaker.py

       A full documentation of this program is given in pdf form at:

       > Abinit_directory/doc/users/AbinitBandStructureMaker_manual.pdf
