Dear abinit users:
I'm using a computer cluster to perfrom calculations. But with
some special missions, there would be errors like this:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
ITER STEP NUMBER 1
-P-0000 leave_test : synchronization done...
vtorho3: loop on k-points and spins done in parallel
vtorho3 : MPI_ALLREDUCE, buffer of size16600376 bytes
/home/abinit/MPICH/bin/mpirun: line 1: 12882 Segmentation fault
"/home/abin
it/bin/abinip" -p4pg "/home/abinit/work/5_5_Kohn/PI12654" -p4wd
"/home/abinit/wo
rk/5_5_Kohn"
--------------------------------------------------------------------
What does this mean? and how to avoid this? Thanks! Other
calculations run quite well on the same cluster. I installed the
abinip and MPICH under the same account, and mount this account's
directory over cluster's intranet.
