Hi,
1) use off the shelf component as much as possible
2) Make a list of typical (but short) jobs and benchmark the possible solution
3) Consider the cost of your new computer facility as: 1/3
maintenance, 1/3 hardware, 1/3 storage + Energy

PMA

Dear Abinit users,
our institue will establish a computation lab and we want to buy a computer
system with an optimised performance and cost ratio.
Do you know any list of criteria for making a good choice?
Thanks in advance
