What happens when you use the following commands:
1) uname -a
2) file abinit_dir/opt/abinis
3) ls -l abinit_dir/opt/abinis
Likely the third command will tell you you don't have the rights to execute abinis.

Im using the "Linux - Intel - g95" version.
