Dear APE (potential) users,

APE 1.0 has been released. This new release can be downloaded from:

This is a stable release, but we ask you to test it and report any bugs

APE (Atomic Pseudopotential Engine) is a tool for generating atomic
pseudopotentials within a Density-Functional Theory framework. It
generates Hamann and Troullier-Martins non-relativistic potentials
and can also be used to generate potentials within the relativistic
extension to the Troullier-Martins scheme. It is also possible to
generate Troullier-Martins potentials with explicit inclusion of
semi-core states. It is distributed under the GPL and it produces
pseudopotential files suitable for use with SIESTA, OCTOPUS,
ABINIT, and PWscf.

Regards,

The APE development team
