This was a user problem (my mistake). Now it works fine.

Thank you.

Hi,

I am computing phonon band structure for BCC Pb. kpt mesh is 16 16 16 and qpt is 8 8 8. If I merge the DDB files and
try to use "anaddb" for analysis it shows a seg. fault. I am pasting the last few lines below:

================================================================================

Dielectric Tensor and Effective Charges

-begin at tcpu 0.168 and twall 0.169 sec
The Gamma block is : 30

Metallic case : effective charges are set to 0

================================================================================

Calculation of the interatomic forces

-begin at tcpu 0.168 and twall 0.169 sec
mkifc9 : enter chkrp9
mkifc9 : exit chkrp9
mkifc9 : enter smpbz
Homogeneous q point set in the B.Z.
Body-Centered Lattice Grid
forrtl: severe (174): SIGSEGV, segmentation fault occurred

Things worked great when I used a 12 12 12 k-mesh and a 6 6 6 q-mesh. Could this seg. fault be related to array sizes?

Thanks,
Ganesh

PS: I am using a ROCKS cluster with AMD opteron processors.
