- Subject: ABINIT-5.4.4 compilation problem
- Date: Fri, 26 Oct 2007 08:44:11 +0200
Dear ABINITers,
Today I was trying to compile the latest version of ABINIT- abinit-5.4.4.
Following the recommended procedure in the "installation notes", i.e.,
configure or ./configure
make or ./make
I got all the binaries, such as abinis, cut3d, anaddb, et al. But I failed to
get the parallel version abinip, which is the one I need the most. I guess
that perhaps the "configure" failed to find the MPI.
My hostname is console, so the "hostname.ac" file in my machine should be
console.ac.
The fortran compiler on my cluster is Intel fortran compiler 9.0. The path
is "/export/intel/fc/9.0".
The MPI is mpichgm_intel. The path is "/export/mpi/mpichgm_intel/".
My question is:
(1) After issueing the command
configure
a console.ac file should be created in my machine. So where is it put? I want
to find it and edit it manually.
(2) After I prepare a correct console.ac file, which directory should I put
it into?
Best regards.
