Dear members of the ABINIT forum list,

There are open positions to attend the CECAM tutorial
"Basic techniques and tools for the development
of atomic-scale softwares", to be held at CECAM, Lyon, France,
Feb. 11 to Feb. 15, 2008. Please see

This tutorial is organised by a team that includes several ABINIT  
developers,
although nearly all the techniques/tools presented there should be  
useful for
generic software development.

The conditions offered at CECAM are nice : in principle
(this might have to be checked explicitely with the CECAM
secretary), CECAM will cover all the expenses (travel and local)
for young researchers ( those who have a PhD or have started their PhD,
and who have spend less than 10 years in science
from the time they started their PhD work).

Deadline for applications is January 17, 2008 ( note that the applicant
CV should be adequate - knowledge and practice of Unix, and either C  
or Fortran).
