The problem with SED was appearing with oldish versions of Autoconf  
(2.59 was released nearly 6 years ago). I fixed this in ABINIT 5.6.  
This is already available in my public branch and Matteo's one.

Most certainly. This should now run smoothly without any special trick.

The biggest issue with this kind of things so far has been that most  
people have dirtily hacked the scripts instead of reporting the  
problems. I'm glad to see that this tendency is starting to change,  
because the whole community will benefit from it.
