Maybe try looking for a directory such as

.../abinit-5.4.4/tests/tutorial/Input

All the files you need should be in there. In particular you will need the file t11.in to run the first lesson.

The file t1x.files is a text file consisting of six lines which, if you can't find it, you can write yourself. The lines should read

t11.in
t11.out
t11i
t11o
t11
../../Psps_for_tests/01h.pspgth

(that 6th line gives the location of the hydrogen pseudopotential. The 1st line is the name of the input file for the first lesson, the rest names your output, etc)

good luck.
