g77 ... wow. You need a Fortran 90 compiler. I don't remember the gcc
version installed on your RedHat system - test it with gcc -v but I bet
it is pretty old. The best would be to build abinit a new gcc toolchain
on your RHEL4 box - version 4.2.4 or 4.3.2 ; you'll need gmp and mpfr.
