At the request of many I now announce that the abinit binaries of versions
5.6.4 and 5.5.2 have been posted at my site:
http://cqb.fc.ul.pt/intheochem/nuno/data/ 

For the latest version only the netcdf and wannier plugins were built. Please
note that I'm not a developer and I'm not in any way connected with the
development team, I just deliver the goods, so please do not direct any 
queries
to me concerning bugs etc.

I've also added the atompaw2abinit binaries and the Vanderbuilt code to the 
zip
package.

Specs: Compiled and tested natively in MS Windows Vista Ultimate, Service Pack
1, with a Pentium 4, 3GHz CPU chip, using a MINGW shell environemt.

Compilers:
gfortran version 4.4.0 20080514 (experimental) [trunk revision 135286]
gcc 3.4.5 (mingw-vista special r3)

Configure options: ./configure --disable-bigdft --disable-etsf_io
--with-fc-optflags=-O3 -msse -static -s --with-cc-optflags=-O3 -msse -static 
-s
--with-linalg-libs=-lacml --enable-cclock --with-cxx-optflags=-O3 -msse 
-static
-s FC=gfortran CC=gcc

Note for developers: Please take out the -fsecond-underscore card from the
gfortran compiler option in netcdf, otherwise it will not link properly with
abinit. Most GW tests seem to fail for some reason.
