Alain and others:

I'm still looking for a resolution to my problem (which started in the thread,
"install error on 10.5.6" last month).  I am working with a large molecule,
with some heavier elements and many orbitals, and I'm running on 8 processors
in a single machine.  I am finding, at some unpredictable point during the 
run,
that ABINIT stops responding, and stops updating the log file and output 
file. 
Processor usage is still around 100% on all 8 processors, but the run never
recovers.

Alain, you had said you were going to find a good stress test for me to run, 
so
that I can give you more information to get this diagnosed and fixed.  Since I
never heard anything else, does that mean that you were able to reproduce the
error on your end?  And if so, is there any timeframe you can give me for a
fix?  Short of that, are there any workarounds you could suggest?

If you haven't yet found it, I am eager to help in any way possible.  Please
let me know the best way for me to proceed.  I'm sure I can't be the only one
seeing this.
