Dear Handa,

The answer seems be yes. Howeve, Abinit still outputs the Oscillator 
strengths,
which can be used to get the IR spectra.

Hi,

I have a question about, the variable "dieflag" used in anaddb. If in any case
in the output of the regular run we have negative acoustic modes, although too
small, we can not obtain the frequency-dependent dielectric tensor by setting
dieflag=1?

It came to me after I read some posted questions in the forum and I hope you
would kindly guide me more
