Yes, that's where I got my serial binary. I haven't seen any Parallel binaries
by him, though. The serial binary works quite nicely. Unfortunately, as you
might guess, it is also slow - a full simulation of the crystal I'm modeling
took five or six hours; this is especially annoying considering that I have
four cores (two dual-core opterons) and so know that I could get much better
performance. I tried installing a linux version by setting up a WUBI Ubuntu
partition but I have a weird power-off issue that prevents me from using that.
I guess I could use Cygwin, but I'd have to teach myself how to use it and it
would be a pain.
So I bring myself back to my original question - does anyone know how I could
get the parallel version (I.E. abinip as opposed to abinis) working on my
workstation.
Any help would be much appreciated
