From Abinit 5.7 on, gfortran 4.1 *doesn't* work.

Please also note that if you use the (recommended)  
--with-mpi-prefix=<pfx> option, the build system will use the wrappers  
found in <pfx>/bin/, regardless of the values of CC and FC.
