It is very convenient to use the XCrySDen software to do this work. Additionally, pls refer to:
http://www.abinit.org/documentation/helpfiles/for-v5.8/input_variables/vargs.html#kptbounds. XCrySDen
 software together with the help from the above website link will give you a vivid insight of
high symmetric k-points in the BZ.
