5.5.1 is really old stuff. Why not to try my 5.8.4 Windows binary
available from
http://www.etsf.eu/resources/software/etsf_software_repository
It is compiled under cygwin but it is a full distribution; just unzip it
in its own directory and invoke it from a CMD command line. I have added
an "Unix aware" text editor.
