Hi,
You can use either the installed binaries (in
/home/kumarsonu/Desktop/DESKTOP/abinit) or those in the build
directory (.../abinit-5.8.4/src/ 98_main/ directory). They are simply
copies of each other.
About the PATH : it is not mandatory to have the binaries in your PATH
: as long as you don't mind writing long launching commands like :
/home/kumarsonu/Desktop/DESKTOP/abinit/abinit < in.files > log it is
not a problem.
Otherwise, you can also add the directory where the binaries stand in
your personal path using the $PATH variable. For instance, if you use
bash or sh as shell, type something like :
export PATH=$PATH:/home/kumarsonu/Desktop/DESKTOP/abinit/abinit
Regarding your tests : if tests_in, tests_speed... are OK it's likely
that you binaries are OK. Nevertheless usually for a complete test,
one perform "test_acc" and checks the results in the files called
"report" (to find them you can use find . -name report).
Regards
PMA
