Further, the value in the out file is per processor. Your 16Gb are
probably per node, which may have 8 or 16 processors. If this is the
case you will explode the total memory if several procs on the same
node are being used.
Otherwise, Pierre-Matthieu has given you the sure-fire way to diagnose
your problem.
