Dear Thomas:

I have implemented a code to compute the macroscopic
averages of the electrostatic potentials and
charge densities starting from the output provided by Abinit.

I hope to include it in the Abinit distribution in the next future,
after some cleaning and the writting of a User Guide.
In the mean time, if you are interested in, I can give you a beta copy.
