   I am currently working on a GUI for abinit, too. Nevertheless, my project 
is 
only for windows-PC platform. The idea I have is to install a minmalist 
client 
on computations-aimed machines (with unix systems). 
   
   I'm wirting code in C#. It should be able to write input files (phase 1), 
dispatch them on other machines (phase 2), analyse output files (phase 3). A 
geometry builder should be implemented step by step. I hope these 3 steps to 
be 
performed before christmas.
   
   I presumed that the choice of windows platform is uncompatible with your 
own 
project. Isn't it ?
