Dear Raphael and Dundar,

Taner Yildirim and I are also thinking about implementing a GUI for
abinit. We are planing to use python for both scripting and
visualization. In this way we hope to create something like "CASTEP in
Cerius2" or "Materials Studio", but thanks to phython it will be
platform independent. Since we are at the planning stage, we have
nothing to share with other people yet. We hope to have something to
report soon...
