Hello, Please let me correct typos in previous e-mail : t42 -> t54
(This become available very recently, in v.4.2.1)
In passing, It would be a good idea to check
X.Gonze and C. Lee, Phys. Rev. B 55, 10355–10368 (1997), Sec.VIII
~ABINIT/Infos/Theory/lr.pdf (Sec. 5.1.5), which is available in v.4.2.x
I should have taken time before posting ... (it might be better, after sleep)
Sorry for this.
Regards,
Masayoshi

Well... as often stated, it would be a VERY good idea
to try to find answers in the documents in ~ABINIT archive
(esp. ~ABINIT/Infos, ~ABINIT/Test_*, ~ABINIT/Tutorial),
if you think that your question may be trivial:
see also the FAQ, e.g.
http://www.abinit.org/ABINIT/Infos/FAQ.htm#find_doc
http://www.abinit.org/ABINIT/Infos/FAQ.htm#newbie_ABINIT
While checking the Anaddb help file
(http://www.abinit.org/ABINIT/Infos_v4.2/anaddb_help.htm),
you will surely notice the keyword "dieflg":
http://www.abinit.org/ABINIT/Infos_v4.2/anaddb_help.htm#dieflag
(You will also want to check "nfreq", "frmin", and "frmax".)
Then, you will want to type :
grep (one of the keywords above) * , and
grep (one of the keywords above) */* at ~ABINIT/Test_*
You will notice the files "Test_v4/t42.in" and "Test_v4/Refs/t42.out"
(Although this test is prepared after v.4.1.x, you can try
the keywords by yourself after reading the explanations
in the Anaddb help file. Then you would be welcome to be back
on the ML with your specific test cases.)
In passing... as you know well beforehand ...
the following thread may also be helpful:
Q: http://www.democritos.it/pipermail/pw_forum/2003-September/000626.html
A: http://www.democritos.it/pipermail/pw_forum/2003-September/000627.html
Erratum to A:
http://www.democritos.it/pipermail/pw_forum/2003-September/000628.html
(I just came across the above URLs, while searching something good...)
Hope this helps,
Masayoshi
P.S.
It would be a good idea to peruse the FAQ, to get responces
more effectively: for example,

Thank you in advance for your kind understanding.

Dear ABINIT users,
It may be a trivial thing,
I would try to calculate dielectric functions in the region of GHz to THz.
Can we perform the calculation with current version of abinit?
Thanks for any information,
Ichiro Nagano
