Part of Problem solved.

I downloaded the complete source and tried to use "make optic" -
it almost did the work - in one of the final step it fails to do the final 
ifort compiling and I did it by hand. So I have now have compiled optic - but 
when I do a testrun, at first glance it looks like it is working.

So therefore I tried to use t56.in and t57.in codes included in Test_v4.
Of course t56.in works since it is the "abinis" and give no errors upon 
computing, but when I try to use optic on t57.in it fails:

"forttl: severe (24): end-of-file during read, unit 10, file .../ "

If one reads the source code one finds that unit 10 is the input file 
"t56o_DS3_1WF7".

Do you think that It is due to a poor compiling of optics or what?
