Well, is the file there? And does it have a finite size? If so, the problem may still be in optic. The Wavefunction format changed slightly for 4.4 with a better plane-wave smearing scheme, so if for some reason optic hasn't been updated... Anyone know? Otherwise you can compare the reading of wfk in optic and cut3d (providing the latter works, of course).
I'll look at it if I have time (which means unprobable). Normally everything goes through rwwf, so it should be up to date...
The ifort problem is frequent: the options for compiling different pieces of the code are not always uniform. Getting better though.
