Hi,
Could you please elaborate on your problem,
by following the spirit in our Netiquette etc. ?
http://www.abinit.org/community/?text=netiquette
http://www.abinit.org/community/?text=bug_report
In passing, the memory size of your machine is sufficient
for your job ? Could you tell us how much mbytes were estimated
as necessary memory for your run ? (kindly see the log/output.
e.g. grep -i mbyte *.log (or *.out))
Then, someone could suggest something more specific ...
Cheers,
Masayoshi

Dear ABINIT users:
I tried running an optimization job for Chlorapatite unit cell Ca10(PO4)6Cl2. I got a message mentioninig 'Forrt1.severe<41>: insufficient virtual memory'. I assigned 200000000 bytes of memory by using the Unix command " -m 2000000000 " . But I keep getting the same message.
I also went through the online manual, but could not find any reference made to the problem mentioned. I would appreciate if anyone could help me out with this.
Thanks in advance
Joshi
