Hello all,
I've been experimenting lately with different compiling options and environments.
It seems the bug I reported a while ago in which some tests fail in the Test_fast folder is strictly windows specific. Fedora Core 3 does not present this bug neither does, surprisingly, any Cygwin binary.
It seems that newsp reads/writes wavefunctions one way with posix style libraries and another with windows libraries.
I've tried using an abinis executable compiled in mingw with newsp compiled in cygwin and all tests in Test_fast work. This means the bug must be somewhere in the newsp code alone.
How is the binary data processed by newsp ? does newsp make any reference to posix instructions ? Any advice from the development team ?
regards,
