Dear Prof. Matthieu,

I am a user of Abinit. This is an excellent software for my research. Thank you for your effort.

I am trying to construct a new computer for runing  this program.But I am not sure what kind of CPU is the best one for this program, AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+, Pentium D 830 or double Xeon 2.8G. We try use server mainboard. And which kind of memory is better, ECC or DDR, we try to use four1GB memory sticks (total 4 G memory).

Any advice or help from you is very appreciated!
