This may be an installation problem of your intel compiler. It seems
not able to read his own lib...
You may try to had/change some compilation flags. For instance, since
you are working on an x86_64 you may try to force the compilation in
64 or 32 bit. The error message tells you that the 32bits lib have a
problem. May be because you are trying to link it with a 64 compiled
program ? Is this possible ?

I'm trully sorry for asking again.

Now another problem appeared, and I would ask for an possible explanation.
After about 15 minutes, the compilation stopped with a message:

/opt/intel/mkl701cluster/lib/32/libmkl_def.so: could not read symbols:
Invalid operation
chmod: failed to get attributes of `abinip': No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [abinip] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/lukacevic/abinit-4.6.5'
make: *** [abinip] Error 2

Does this mean that the mkl libraries are invalid on the cluster?

Thank you

I. Lukacevic
